SAVING AND OPENING DATA

The progam's text entries, results and content of most windows can be saved as global project files in *.dca format. The project Open/Save menu is found in Lab Tools -> Solutions module:

  


AUTO SAVE OF PROJECT STATE EACH TIME AN ELN PAGE IS CREATED

Each time an ELN page is created, a *.dca file containig a snapshot is auto-generated and saved to an ELN folder for the most recent ELN page created. It is possible to add multiple *.dca files to the most recent ELN page via the Manager's box button:
 
  

A new file name should be entered to the text field in Lab Tools -> Title for each new *.dca file. This will activate the "file P+" button for new file addition.


FILE DRAG and DROP OPERATIONS

The program can make use of Drag and Drop operations for file handling as follows:

1. Drag-Dropping *.dca files onto the program will open them (behaving the same as Lab Tools -> Solutions -> Open button).
2. Drag-Dropping *.html, *.txt and other files into ELN's address bar will navigate ELN to these files or open them.
3. Drag-Dropping files or images onto the DRAG & DROP pads in ELN tab will embed them in ELN.

Some text fields containing file/folder paths accept DragDrop operations.
